James Evans, aged 32, robbed John David on the highway of a cask of gin (Calendar of Prisoners - Spring Session).  In a deposition Evans asked for David David, in gaol for debt, to attend as witness.  The trial was delayed till the Autumn.  No reprieve traced. Select Committee on Criminal Laws 1821indicates that he was hanged.
